This week for episode 12 we are going to do BBQ chicken legs with fried pickles and some corn on the cob. The BBQ is going to be homemade and surprisingly it isn't a vinegar based BBQ sauce like you find with so many others. We are going to use a honey BBQ sauce to coat our chicken and get them flavorful and cooked. Meanwhile we have our fried pickles, which are a southern delicacy not many in the northern cities and locales know about. I am from CA myself and never heard of a fried pickle until it was suggested to me by a facebook friend. We will be using bread and butter spears. For the dip we are making a home made quick and creamy ranch-like dressing with an ear of corn to top off.
